Johnie Bailey Sister of Mr Shields (Tommmy)
NOEL, Mo. —
Johnie Bailey, 58, of Noel, Mo., passed away unexpectedly Jan. 19, 2012, of natural causes.
Wife of 32 years to Richard Bailey and daughter of Loretta and Tom Shields, Johnie was a resident of Noel for more than 40 years. She was known for her caring work with animals at local veterinary clinics and loved by all who were blessed to know her. She’ll be missed for her generous heart and loving spirit. While we can’t be certain, we think she woke up and heard “Johnie Bailey, come a riding” and joined her beloved horse of 32 years, Pinto.
Johnie is survived by her beloved husband, Richard; mother, Loretta Shields; sister, Lynn Wilson; brother, Tommy Shields; children, Jerod McAffrey, Veronica Dilber and Amanda Robinson; and seven grandchildren.
Remembrance will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at the First Baptist Church at the corner of Harmony and Getz in Noel. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. in remembrance. From 7 until 8 p.m. friends and family will break bread together and share memories.
